LIGHTING DESIGN
MY THOUGHTS :)
The purpose of theatre is to share stories or reveal challenges seen within our society. Art serves as a medium to communicate new ideas, bring people together for discussion, or simply provide enjoyment. Activism through theatre, as a form of art, has the power to raise awareness about social issues, educate the audience, and share empathy. Mere education is not the sole objective of telling stories; the goal is to tell compelling stories that inspire the audience to take action for justice.
With that being said, here are a few projects I have worked on throughout my college journey <3
BOUNDLESS EXPOSED 2026 PROJECT
Interviewed by Maria Mendoza
Do we lose our inner child as we get older? Or does our inner child remain a part of us as we get older?
This documentary follows the creative process behind our immersive production, where Natalie Foo (Scenic), Malory Grillo (Costume Design), and I (Lighting) explore the red string theory and the experience of navigating a creative career through Mirabella's younger and older selves.
CHAPTER 2 INTERVIEW PROJECT
Interviewed by Maria Mendoza
In our project, we investigate the historical aspects of race beyond the borders of the United States. Additionally, we delve into the significance of relearning history.
EPISODE 4: POP CULTURE AND OUR IDENTITIES
